I have been wearing my MBT's for six weeks now. I have had my left ankle fused after a serious road traffic accident.
After my operation to have my ankle fused I went to a specialist shoe maker who made me a pair of shoes with a rocker plate on the bottom, the shoes where £800 a pair to make. When I showed the surgeon the shoes he said I needed a much larger rocker on the bottom. I couldn't get on with the £800 pair shoes, so when the MBT's came out I asked the surgeon and he said give it a try. Since wearing them the pain hasn't decreased but I am able to walk better and they are far more comfortable than all the other shoes I've tried.
They are cheaper than the £800 pair but I would like to see a better range and maybe down to around £100 a pair depending type.
Thanks
